Assessment guideRosenberg Self-Esteem Scale · 10 items
This score summarises your responses about self-acceptance and personal worth. Higher scores reflect more positive self-evaluation. There is no diagnostic threshold or population ranking in this report, and your score does not measure your value as a person.
How should I read my scores?
Responses use 0–3; items 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10 in the University of Maryland order are reverse scored. All 10 scores are summed.

CLEAR FROM THE START
What are these assessments based on?
Our personality assessment uses the 50-item IPIP Big-Five Factor Markers from the International Personality Item Pool, initiated by Lewis R. Goldberg. Our self-esteem assessment uses the 10-item Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (Morris Rosenberg, 1965, Society and the Adolescent Self-Image) in the University of Maryland item order, scored from 0 to 30. We use the English items and published scoring rules. Mind Calculator's explanations and reflection prompts are original educational content; this website has not undergone independent psychometric validation.
IPIP-NEO-120 uses Johnson’s (2014) 120-item version. IPIP-NEO-300 uses the full 30 facet scales. Both show five dimensions and 30 facets; they are not the proprietary NEO-PI-R.

How should I read my scores?
This reference uses responses from 1 to 5. All 90 responses contribute to the total. Each factor is the mean of its assigned items; seven additional items contribute only to the total. This is not the 0–4 scoring version.
IPIP results show five separate raw sums, each from 10 to 50. There is no overall personality score and a higher score is not always better. Rosenberg scores range from 0 to 30, with higher scores reflecting more positive self-evaluation. Neither report shows a population percentile, a diagnosis or a prediction of job performance. The results are a starting point for reflection.
Where do my answers go?

Anyone using the same browser profile may see saved information. Delete it through My reports. The website uses no analytics, advertising trackers, external fonts or AI services.
Downloaded files are stored wherever you choose; deleting browser records does not delete those files. If the site is hosted online, the hosting provider may process ordinary connection information such as your IP address, but our application does not upload your answers.
Can this diagnose a mental health condition?
No. These are self-reflection tools, not a clinical assessment or a substitute for professional care. If something is affecting your wellbeing, you can seek support regardless of your score. For immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
